Charging error 2: All Roomba® and Braava® models

Charging error two (2) means that a fault has been detected and your Roomba® or Braava® battery is not charging. The error indicator will vary by model. To clear the error, run the robot or remove and reinstall the battery. Check the robot and Home Base for liquid damage.

Note: Confirm that you are using an authentic iRobot® Lithium-Ion battery. Unknown charging errors can occur with aftermarket-purchased batteries.
If you are using an iRobot® battery and have persistently encountered this error, please contact iRobot Customer Care.

For expedited service, please ensure that you have the following:

  • Your robot charged and with you.
  • Your robot’s serial number.
  • For warranty claims: Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice for purchase from an authorised retailer).
