Charging error 20: All Roomba® and Braava® models

Charging error twenty (20) indicates that a battery fault has been detected. 

Note: Confirm that you are using an authentic iRobot® Lithium-Ion battery. Unknown charging errors can occur with aftermarket-purchased batteries.

Remove and re-install your battery to resolve the issue.

If the error persists, contact iRobot Customer Care for additional assistance.

For expedited service, please ensure that you have the following:
    • Your robot charged and with you
    • Your robot’s serial number
    • For warranty claims: Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice for purchase)
