Charging Error 106: All Roomba® Models

Charging error 106 indicates the battery is not charging because it is too hot for charging. Ensure the robot is being charged at room temperature, between 60°-75 °F (15.5°-23 °C). Do not charge in an excessively hot environment or near a heating vent, baseboard heater, or radiator. Please allow the robot to cool down for a few minutes before attempting another mission.

 

If the error persists, please contact iRobot Customer Care.

 

For expedited service, please have the following ready:

  • Your robot charged and with you
  • Your robot's Serial Number
  • For warranty claims: Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice for purchase)
