Cleaning the Roomba 400 and 500 series main brushes.

Please use the following procedure to regularly clean the main brushes:

1. Remove brush guard by removing both tabs.

2. Remove and clean the brushes.
** Brush Caps
* Brush Bearings

3. Remove and clean hair and dirt from the yellow brush bearings.

4. Remove and clean the brush caps.
* Alignment Feature

5. Use the included cleaning tool to easily remove hair from the bristle brush by pulling it over the brush.

Excessive build up of hair can permanently damage Roomba. Remove the brushes and inspect the brush bearings regularly.

Do not attempt to run Roomba without the bearings. If you misplace the brush bearings, contact iRobot Customer Care for replacement bearings.
